'YOKAI' Encyclopedia of Japansese supernatural creatures book, research
The word 'yokai' defines a wide range of supernatural beings, demons, ghosts, even objects that came alive as well as some bizarre phenomena. In a word, it includes everything that is inexplicable, mysterious, and thrilling. Together with experts in Japanese culture, I've prepared articles about this phenomenon. Each article is accompanied by illustrations created specifically for the project by different artists. This book was made in collaboration with more than 40 illustrators from Russia and Ukraine.
